These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the service provided by CareerMap (the 'Company'), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users in connection with the use of the Company's AI-based job-preparation service (the 'Service').
Article 2 (Service Content)
The Company provides services that help users prepare for employment in Korea, including AI-assisted cover letter and resume writing and job posting and company analysis. The specific content may change according to the Company's circumstances.
Article 3 (Sign-up and Account)
Users may register through a Google account and must provide accurate information about themselves. Users are responsible for managing their account.
Article 4 (User Obligations)
- Users must enter only their own genuine information.
- Users must not enter or misappropriate others' personal information without authorization.
- Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
Article 5 (Notice on AI-Generated Output)
AI-generated documents (cover letters, resumes, etc.) provided by the Company are supporting materials for reference. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the output, or any hiring outcome.
Users must verify the factual accuracy of the output before submitting or using it, and are responsible for its final review, editing, and submission.
Article 6 (Rights in Content)
Rights in the content you enter or create belong to you. You agree that the Company may use such content to provide the Service and, where you have separately consented, in anonymized form to improve service quality. Rights in the Service itself, including its design and software, belong to the Company.
Article 7 (Changes and Suspension of Service)
The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons.
Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)
With respect to the Service provided free of charge, the Company is not liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for users' data-entry errors or for the results of using AI-generated output (including hiring outcomes).
Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law, and will announce the effective date and content of any changes within the Service.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes arising from use of the Service follow the procedures set by applicable law.
